§ 00 — A field guide for founders & operators

A venture studio for the software era. We partner with founders and operators to build, ship and scale digital businesses — from zero, or out of legacy.

Build · Co-found · Operate — across MENA & beyond

§ 02 — OriginThe bloom we're named for

Named for a rare bloom that comes back every season.

Fritillaria meleagris — the snake's-head fritillary — is a perennial. It returns each spring from the same bulb, deepens, multiplies. From a meadow of grass it reads, unmistakably, as drawn.

We took the name in 2014 because most software shops behave like annuals — fast, identical, gone next season. We wanted to build the other way: deliberate, patterned, planted to come back. A studio in Cairo where founders, operators and engineers grow ventures together — not a vendor that ships and leaves.

We don't ship and leave. We come back every season.

§ 03 — How we partnerThree engagement models

We don't sell projects.
We partner on outcomes.

Three ways to grow with us. Pick the depth — embedded team, full delivery with handover, or co-founded venture. Same studio behind each.

Model · 01Embedded studio

Build with you.

— Your tech & product team for the first 18 months.

  • ·Engineers, designers and PMs embedded in your stand-up
  • ·Fee plus warrants — we have skin in the outcome
  • ·Hand-off when your in-house team can carry it
Model · 02Build · Operate · Transfer

Build for you.

— We build and run the system, then transfer it home.

  • ·Full delivery + a year of operation under our SLA
  • ·We hire and train the team that will own it
  • ·Transfer on a fixed date, with the runbook in their hands
Model · 03Venture partnership

Build together.

— We co-found. Equity. Multi-year. Shared bulb.

  • ·Co-founder commitment from idea through Series A
  • ·Studio carry, not a consulting invoice
  • ·Reserved for theses we believe in for a decade
§ 03·5 — CapabilitiesWhat we put on the bench

Five disciplines, one bench. We don't sub-contract these out — they sit at the same table, on the same product, from week one.

№ 01

Software

Production-grade web, iOS and Android applications — plus the custom platforms that sit underneath them.

  • React · Next.js
  • Swift · Kotlin
  • Node · Go · Rust
  • Postgres · Redis
№ 02

Operations

ERP, CRM, internal tools and the workflow automation that turns ten manual steps into one.

§ 03·9 — ThesisWhat we partner on

We have a point of view about the businesses worth growing.

T·01

MENA-rooted SaaS.

Software built for how the region actually transacts, contracts and complies — not ported.

T·02

AI-native operations.

Companies where AI isn't a feature — it's the operating system underneath.

T·03

Financial infrastructure for SMEs.

Pipes, tools and intelligence for the businesses that move the regional economy.

T·04

Legacy modernised.

40-year family enterprises rebuilt around digital surface area, without losing the bulb.

§ 04 — MethodologyFour movements

From idea to scalable reality,
in four deliberate movements.

Every partnership follows the same arc. Same studio from understanding to scaling — no handoffs, no second team, no diluted intent.

Step · 01

Understand.

We dig into business context, not just technical requirements.

Stakeholder interviews, operational mapping, market context. We arrive with questions, not decks.

— observe the meadow before the bloom.

Step · 02

Structure.

We define the systems, processes and product architecture.

Information architecture, system design, product roadmap, and the contracts between them. Drawn before built.

— sketch the stem and the leaves.

Step · 03

Build.

We execute with precision, in modern stacks, by one team.

Engineering, design and AI in lockstep. We ship in weeks, not quarters, and we ship the same studio that scoped it.

— ink the petal, square by square.

Step · 04

Scale.

We optimise continuously, with data and a steady hand.

Telemetry, experimentation, and the long edits no launch announcement covers. We measure what compounds.

— tend the bloom across seasons.

§ 03·6 — DisciplinesWhat we put on the bench

Five disciplines, grown from one stem.

§ 06·5 — Manifesto

Annuals chase seasons.
Perennials build soil.

We pick the partnerships that compound — the ones still here in five years, growing from the same bulb. That's the studio. That's the bet.

§ 06 — ApproachFour traits

How we tend the work.

— 01

Curious.

We dig into the business before the brief — context first, requirements second. The unfashionable question is usually the one worth asking.

“What is the smallest version of this that would still feel honest?”
— 02

Crafted.

Founder, engineer, product leader at one table. Strategy, code, and interface pass through the same hands — and the same standard.

“If we wouldn't sign it in ink, we don't ship it.”
— 03

Quiet.

We don't perform the work. We deliver systems that explain themselves — to the team using them and the market they're built for.

“Restraint is the loudest design decision a studio can make.”
— 04

Rooted.

Cairo since 2014. MENA-fluent, globally-stacked. We grow where we were planted, and we stay long enough to see things ship and scale.

“A decade in one city teaches you what a season really means.”
§ 06·8 — HabitatWhere we grow

Rooted in Cairo. Operating across the meadow.
